A beautiful save bye Paru EC's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Paru EC got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis da Cunha. Diguinho de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Laércio Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruninho dos Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laércio Nogueira. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. David de Queiroz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Furlan. Paru EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Otávio Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Capixaba in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Furlan saved Paru EC from getting behind. Reynaldo Moreno hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of 51 É PINGA booed when Paru EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Carlos Fernando Maciel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Furlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Otávio Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Otávio Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Paru EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Capixaba came free, but José Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, 51 É PINGA's Reynaldo Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruninho dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, José Furlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fellipe Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Furlan having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, 51 É PINGA's Otávio Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Furlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Paru EC's Diguinho de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 69 minutes, Fellipe Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 51 É PINGA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otávio Moraes took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Furlan. José Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Otávio Moraes put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of José Furlan. In the 93rd minute Otávio Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Otávio Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. José Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 51 É PINGA played a much better game than Paru EC and deserved their victory. The Paru EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
