Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Bruninho dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Paru EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho dos Santos couldn't finish the play. Bruninho dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Manoel FC's Eriberto de Carvalho got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Daniel Favoretto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Manoel FC's Geovânio Coutinho didn't even have to move. Geovânio Coutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruninho dos Santos in the 11th minute. After 11 played minutes Manoel FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto de Carvalho. The supporters of Manoel FC booed when Paru EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Paiva in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Manuel da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paru EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manoel FC the free kick. Manuel da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Paru EC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel da Rocha. 22 minutes into the match, Dalmo Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Furlan. Paru EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmo Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dalmo Paiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Furlan having to make a save. José Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Hermes in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Manoel FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eriberto de Carvalho hit a great ball. Kaká Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Furlan came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manoel FC's Kaká Hermes. But to his dismay, Kaká Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dalmo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. José Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Cearense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geovânio Coutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Cearense's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The Paru EC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Paru EC's Maurício Cearense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Dalmo Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Dalmo Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manoel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmo Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurício Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Dalmo Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho dos Santos in the 75th minute of play. When Manoel FC's Dalmo Paiva in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paru EC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Manoel FC booed when Paru EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovânio Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho dos Santos in the 93rd minute of the match. Bruninho dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Coutinho having to interfere. Clóvis da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Geovânio Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Manoel FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
