Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elói Cearense got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Geovânio de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Túlio Tande made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Davi Baptista sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cubas FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mauro Gerber hit a great ball. Joel da Silva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Túlio Tande came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel da Silva slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Cearense in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldinho Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ijucapirama FC's Osvaldinho Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Gerber in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Mauro Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ijucapirama FC's Davi Baptista got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Vitório Cosme made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldinho Seco. Ijucapirama FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Elói Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Mauro Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cubas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Gerber couldn't finish the play. Cubas FC's Mauro Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes of play, Cubas FC's Mauro Gerber made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldinho Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celsinho Esteves during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel da Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldinho Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elói Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cubas FC booed when Ijucapirama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Cubas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Cosme to maneuver through the defense. When Cubas FC's Elói Cearense in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joel da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Tande having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Cubas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Elói Cearense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Osvaldinho Seco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anderson de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Osvaldinho Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Cubas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ijucapirama FC throughout the match.
