Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gonçalo Nogueira got the match started through his kick off. José Maria Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernão Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Christiano Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdemar Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernão Macedo having to interfere. Itapiranga EC's Fernão Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Oliveira in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Itapiranga EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Valdemar Oliveira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Itapiranga EC's Fernão Macedo. Fernão Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Itapiranga EC's zone, José Maria Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernão Macedo came out of the goal and José Maria Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdemar Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Doni Munhoz managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Itapiranga EC's Carlos Alberto Quaresma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernão Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Maria Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alberto Quaresma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gonçalo Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Munhoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Sariema's Valdemar Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fernão Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernão Macedo was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The supporters of Itapiranga EC booed when Sariema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Itapiranga EC got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Fernandes. José Maria Alves came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernão Macedo could save by the left post. In the 69th minute, Rafael Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Itapiranga EC's Fernão Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Itapiranga EC from getting a goal against them. José Maria Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th match minute, Itapiranga EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Ruy Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Fernão Macedo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sariema's Valdemar Oliveira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. 87 minutes into the match, Itapiranga EC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Oliveira came free, but Fernão Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Maria Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, José Maria Alves put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fernão Macedo. Sariema's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
