Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gonçalo Nogueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, one of Zororo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pedro Paulo Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernão Macedo having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Abel Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zororo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapiranga EC the free kick. Abel Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Gonçalo Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Itapiranga EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Zororo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raphael do Valle in the 20th minute. Raphael do Valle made a great header on Zororo's corner, it was just that Itapiranga EC's Fernão Macedo managed to reach the ball for a save. Fernão Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Tróia in the 23rd minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Leão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonçalo Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Itapiranga EC's Carlos Alberto Quaresma made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gonçalo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zororo's Pedro Paulo Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 49thth minute of the game Carlos Eduardo Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapiranga EC's Fernão Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo Cruz to make the kick off. When Gonçalo Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Itapiranga EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Fernão Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Cruz in the 62nd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Itapiranga EC's Carlos Alberto Quaresma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horácio Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ceresso hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Quaresma notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Zororo's Horácio Leão. Horácio Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Pedro Paulo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itapiranga EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zororo for a fine match.
