Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Mendonça started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Décio Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Corinthians's Décio Medeiros in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conduru EC's goalie prevented a goal. Enrique Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Macedo having to make a save. Cayetano Elixio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Mendonça in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Teodoro Bastos got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Conduru EC's goalkeeper João Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Décio Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Macedo having to make a save. Décio Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Conduru EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lohitzun came free, but João Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Décio Medeiros in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Lohitzun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaltino Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. João Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Conduru EC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Agnaldo Medeiros hit a great ball. If Augusto Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Conduru EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corinthians were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Conduru EC's zone, Décio Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Macedo came out of the goal and Décio Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. On his own Joel Velasco managed to get through Conduru EC's defense and was going for a shot in the net, but João Macedo lunged to the right and managed in the last second get hold of the ball before it was to late. When Décio Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Décio Medeiros couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Enrique Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Décio Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Décio Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Macedo having to interfere. João Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Enrique Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Medeiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of João Macedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomas Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Medeiros in the 84th minute. João Macedo was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Tomas Lohitzun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Lohitzun really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. If Décio Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Conduru EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corinthians were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
