Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Atibaia's Erik Freire started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Décio Medeiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Luciano Paulista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Décio Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Paulista having to interfere. Luciano Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Medeiros in the 15th minute of the match. Décio Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luciano Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Elixio having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Atibaia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lohitzun came free, but Luciano Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corinthians's Décio Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Corinthians's Décio Medeiros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Décio Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Décio Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Décio Medeiros made a kick off. Tomas Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Medeiros in the 55th minute of play forced Atibaia's goalkeeper Luciano Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Xavier hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Décio Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Décio Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Corinthians's Décio Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luciano Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Décio Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Paulista was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Corinthians's Cayetano Elixio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians from getting a goal against them. Luciano Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Tomas Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Luciano Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Décio Medeiros sped through Atibaia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Paulista. Luciano Paulista came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians's Décio Medeiros. But to his dismay, Décio Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 92nd minute, Décio Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Medeiros in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Paulista saved Atibaia from getting behind. If Enrique Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Corinthians players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
