Leandro Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Maciel in the 4th minute of the match. José Augusto Quadros's late challenge caught a Caviuna SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. José Augusto Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jano Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tostão Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Barros in the 19th minute of play forced Caviuna SC's goalkeeper Tostão Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jano Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Jano Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caviuna SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jano Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Leandro Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tostão Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Madureira in the 30th minute of the match. Ediberto Neiva lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 35th minute, one of Caviuna SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caviuna SC. The referee gave CAVALO DE TRÓIA a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Gustavo Rodrigues, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caviuna SC's Tostão Saraiva. 0-1. When Gualter Félix fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caviuna SC's protests and gave Gualter Félix a yellow card for diving instead. Gualter Félix hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Luís Gustavo Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tostão Saraiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Augusto Quadros hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sydney Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. CAVALO DE TRÓIA's Bruninho Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sydney Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caviuna SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, CAVALO DE TRÓIA's Luís Gustavo Rodrigues got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tostão Saraiva. In the 77th match minute, CAVALO DE TRÓIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Quadros to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Caviuna SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Madureira came free, but Tostão Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caviuna SC's Tostão Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Madureira in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CAVALO DE TRÓIA's zone, Sydney Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Pirani came out of the goal and Sydney Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruninho Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, CAVALO DE TRÓIA's Gil Madureira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tostão Saraiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruninho Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Saraiva having to interfere. 100 minutes into the match, Gil Madureira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tostão Saraiva, 0-4. CAVALO DE TRÓIA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
