After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ricardo Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esteirao's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hugo Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto do Valle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Henrique da Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 46 minutes, Fausto do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarimanzal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodriguinho Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Ricardo Galvão made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, one of Esteirao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Esteirao. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodriguinho Mota in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique da Cunha saved Esteirao from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto do Valle in the 70th minute of play forced Esteirao's goalkeeper Henrique da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Esteirao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Fausto do Valle notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Esteirao's Henrique da Cunha. Henrique da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Fausto do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrique da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Guarimanzal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
