The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Lauro Ramos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BrazilstaR's Alan Terra. Alan Terra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Ulysses Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 14th minute of the match Leopoldo dos Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alan Terra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Waldir Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Roberto Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soligo Futebol Clube's Lauro Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Elias Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alan Terra. BrazilstaR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lauro Ramos struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alan Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soligo Futebol Clube. Alan Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Romeu Pinheiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Campidelis skillfully saved the ball. Elias Senna took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Terra. Alan Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Elias Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Terra having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauro Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Soligo Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Campidelis having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BrazilstaR and the Soligo Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BrazilstaR's Luiz Fabiano Lopez got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lauro Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauro Ramos in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Soligo Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bernardinho Fontes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Brodel in the 77th minute of play forced BrazilstaR's goalkeeper Alan Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BrazilstaR's zone, Elias Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Terra came out of the goal and Elias Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. BrazilstaR's Alan Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Ramos in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauro Ramos in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lauro Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lauro Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Terra having to interfere. If Elias Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Soligo Futebol Clube were the better team. Soligo Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
