Magno de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Fausto Simão made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Paes in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Simão was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Edmílson do Vale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmílson do Vale really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Malaquias Fut Art getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Charles Matos hit a great ball. Júnior Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Monteiro having to interfere. Fausto Simão made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Magno de Castro sent off a good shot on target. Adilson Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Paes in the 34th minute of play. Malaquias Fut Art's Rogério Lago pulled a muscle in his leg after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Cunha during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Malaquias Fut Art booed when Marema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júnior Cunha made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Malaquias Fut Art was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Zanette to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Cunha in the 56th minute of play forced Malaquias Fut Art's goalkeeper Adilson Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adilson Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Eusébio Paes sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Malaquias Fut Art's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Júnior Cunha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Abelardo Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Adilson Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Marema's Eusébio Paes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adilson Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Magno de Castro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fausto Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malaquias Fut Art. After a defensive mix-up in Marema's zone, Charles Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Simão came out of the goal and Charles Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magno de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fausto Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Tiaguinho Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Monteiro having to interfere. Adilson Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Paes in the 88th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marema had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
