Comercinho EC's Cléberson da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Penha in the 8th minute of play. Comercinho EC's Cléberson da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Comercinho EC from getting a goal against them. Caetano Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tarcisio Secco having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caetano Gerber to make the kick off. Eugênio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Trigueiro getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rui Meira hit a great ball. The supporters of Trigueiro booed when Comercinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Trigueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Meira to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trigueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comercinho EC the free kick. Rui Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Tarcisio Secco came out and tried to block the shot, but Caetano Gerber slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 69th minute. Thomás França kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Sandro Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comercinho EC and the Trigueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trigueiro's Eugênio Barros managed to work through Comercinho EC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eugênio Barros dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 83rd minute, Rui Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Caetano Gerber put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tarcisio Secco. Tarcisio Secco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Xavier in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Trigueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Gerber came free, but Tarcisio Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Comercinho EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
