Lino Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Botelho in the 8th minute of the match. Elano Nogueira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Wiliam Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Brava AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Botelho came free, but Lino Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero Botelho scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Cícero Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brejatuba SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cícero Botelho scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wiliam Couto struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Roger Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brava AD. In the 40th minute Cícero Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Brejatuba SC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Brejatuba SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Sena in the 53rd minute. Brejatuba SC's Serginho Peixoto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lino Campidelis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lino Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A hard shot 57 in the game by Luiz Eduardo Perez from a close distance when the talented Lino Campidelis managed to make a qualified save. Brava AD's players were relieved. 59 minutes into the game, Cícero Botelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lino Campidelis. Cícero Botelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Luiz Eduardo Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Campidelis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Eduardo Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Perez got free with Lino Campidelis in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Perez in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Hortêncio Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Trigo couldn't finish the play. Lino Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 96 minutes, Chicão Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brava AD and the Brejatuba SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Brejatuba SC. Pedro Sena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lino Campidelis. 0-6.
