Diadema FC's Rafa Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Diadema FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Cavalcante in the 13th minute of play forced A.A.DUARTE's goalkeeper Vânderson Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Ademar Furlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vânderson Ferreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ovidio Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in A.A.DUARTE's zone, Ademar Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Ferreira came out of the goal and Ademar Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto Cavalcante during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A.A.DUARTE getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Guto Cavalcante hit a great ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A.DUARTE's goalkeeper Vânderson Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Diadema FC's André Luiz Aparecido got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ademar Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vânderson Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.A.DUARTE's Vânderson Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Aparecido in the 37th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Diadema FC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Duarte. Rafa Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Vidal in the 47th minute of play.

André Luiz Aparecido did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Vânderson Ferreira 52 minutes into the match. Diadema FC's Rafa Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Enol in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Enol in the 59th minute of play forced Diadema FC's goalkeeper Rafa Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Amílton Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Humberto Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafa Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Enol in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, A.A.DUARTE's Vânderson Ferreira got control of the ball when Ademar Furlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Enol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Lira having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, André Luiz Aparecido notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of A.A.DUARTE's Vânderson Ferreira. Vânderson Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute Amílton Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Vidal in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diadema FC's Rafa Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Enol in the 81st minute of play. In the 88th minute, Diadema FC's Amílton Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Vânderson Ferreira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Diadema FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
