The referee ignored Palmelas's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Travassos lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 96 played minutes Colombo SC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Travassos. Cássio Abreu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Colombo SC had won after a very even match.
