Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edson Antunes made the kick off and thus started the match. Claudinei Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Paulista having to interfere. Eliézer Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dênis Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Antunes in the 17th minute of play. After 27 played minutes QseNda got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Costa. Eugênio Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Victor Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, one of Murucupi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, QseNda's Eliézer Teixeira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dênis Cearense. QseNda's Victor Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Ribeiro in the 46th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Murucupi got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Borges. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jânio Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Jânio Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murucupi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jânio Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Paulista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio Ribeiro in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Murucupi's Décio Godoi got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dênis Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Antunes in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, QseNda's Olavo Prestes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Murucupi's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Teixeira came free, but Dênis Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Murucupi's zone, Edson Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Cearense came out of the goal and Edson Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Claudinei Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
