Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guto do Nascimento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guto do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Ramos having to interfere. When Jorge Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sangaia's protests and gave Jorge Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Campelo's Victor Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Velasco having to interfere. Patrick Ramos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zé Carlos Lara. 23 minutes into the match, Sangaia's Guto do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Sangaia got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Trigo. Patrick Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Trigo in the 33rd minute of play. Guto do Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Campelo's Luiz Guilherme Vieira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luiz Velasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Velasco having to interfere. If Victor Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 51st match minute, Sangaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Trigo to maneuver through the defense. José Paulo de Godoi's late challenge caught a Sangaia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. 63 minutes into the match, Sangaia's Guto do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Umberto Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Campelo's Patrick Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto do Nascimento in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Guto do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Paulo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. José Paulo Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Ramos having to interfere. Guto do Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Guto do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sangaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Guto do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guto do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Patrick Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangaia. Sangaia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Campelo for a fine match.
