Luís Eduardo de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Luís Eduardo de Azevedo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Juarês Urbano 37 minutes into the match. Gugu de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Juarês Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gugu de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Juarês Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colossal. After 47 played minutes Colossal got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo de Azevedo.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diamantino Chaves to make the kick off. Bombas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luís Eduardo de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Luís Eduardo de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Colossal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Juarês Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Colossal fully deserved thier win.
