Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Fernando das Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mazagao SC's Jonas Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Tasso in the 2nd minute of play. Mataripe SS's Joel Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genílson Xavier hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Joel Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Esteves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Anselmo Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataripe SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mazagao SC's Luiz Eduardo Ramalho got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lauro Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Geraldo Alves made a huge save. Lauro Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Tasso's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Dorival Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazagao SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraldo Alves made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lauro Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. Marco Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Mazagao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Freire came free, but Jonas Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Mazagao SC's Jonas Esteves got control of the ball when Joel Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Joel Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mataripe SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Tasso couldn't finish the play. A wasted opportunity for Mataripe SS. 70 minutes into the match, Mazagao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Freire came free, but Jonas Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Mataripe SS got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Paulista. Luís Fernando das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Geraldo Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Esteves acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dé Martins. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Joel Tasso sped through Mazagao SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonas Esteves. Joel Tasso in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonas Esteves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 95th minute, Lauro Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
