If Ezequiel Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Rafa Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonita SS. After 11 played minutes Caranaiba SS got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Amaral. Caranaiba SS's Ezequiel Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bonita SS's Alexandre Netto got a free kick in the 17th minute. Alexandre Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Paraense having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Leandro Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonita SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafa Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Caranaiba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Caranaiba SS got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Amaral. In the 29th minute, João Pedro França sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caranaiba SS's Rafa Paraense didn't even have to move. Leandro Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Paraense having to interfere. Rafa Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Netto in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Alexandre Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquinhos Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rafa Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Paraense having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Bonita SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Almeida came free, but Edgard Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Netto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafa Paraense. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. When Ezequiel Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Caranaiba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Almeida couldn't finish the play. Renatinho Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Ezequiel Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bonita SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
