Gilvan Custódio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Quirino in the 6th minute. Luciano Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Custódio having to interfere. If Natanael Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natanael Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Custódio having to interfere. Gilvan Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Pontes in the 26th minute of play. Alexsandro Furlan's late challenge caught a Eao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexsandro Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Eao booed when TEAN NAME was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomás Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Gilvan Custódio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natanael Pontes was the one to do the kick off. Duda de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Eao were awarded a corner. Breno Sena went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Eao's corner Breno Sena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duda de Souza quite easily take care of the ball. When Natanael Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TEAN NAME's protests and gave Natanael Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes TEAN NAME got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Pontes. In the 60th minute, Luciano Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilvan Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Pontes in the 68th minute of the match. Gernando Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Custódio having to interfere. Gilvan Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Pontes in the 72nd minute of play. Luciano Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilvan Custódio having to make a save. If Luciano Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Eao got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Cabral. TEAN NAME's Natanael Pontes managed to work through Eao's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Natanael Pontes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 92nd minute Raphael Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the TEAN NAME players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
