Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) José Augusto da Cunha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmundo Hames kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente das Neves. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto da Cunha got free with Clemente das Neves in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guape EC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after ALMENARA EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sidnei Mesquita took the corner. Sidnei Mesquita made a great header on Guape EC's corner, it was just that ALMENARA EC's Clemente das Neves managed to reach the ball for a save. After 11 played minutes ALMENARA EC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Teixeira. With his leg Clemente das Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Guape EC's Dedê Prado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dedê Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Clemente das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Dayam, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. ALMENARA EC's Clemente das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save ALMENARA EC from getting a goal against them. Edmundo Hames kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Murillo Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico Rocha. Guape EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Guape EC's Denílson Ribeiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Clemente das Neves but with some difficulty. The nice shot from Edmundo Hames in the 41stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Clemente das Neves had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Dayam in the 44th minute of play forced Guape EC's goalkeeper Eurico Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Clemente das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto da Cunha in the 54th minute of play. Clemente das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Hames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Hames's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente das Neves was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th match minute, ALMENARA EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 徐青桑 to maneuver through the defense. José Augusto da Cunha's late challenge caught a ALMENARA EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, José Augusto da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, ALMENARA EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Prado came free, but Clemente das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Edmundo Hames had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente das Neves. ALMENARA EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Hames was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If José Augusto da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Dedê Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALMENARA EC's Clemente das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto da Cunha in the 74th minute of play. 徐青桑 kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes ALMENARA EC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio do Valle. After 79 minutes of play, Guape EC's Edmundo Hames made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denílson Ribeiro's late challenge caught a ALMENARA EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denílson Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Denílson Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Prado in the 87th minute of the match. Clemente das Neves came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Guape EC's José Augusto da Cunha. But to his dismay, José Augusto da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Clemente das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Many of ALMENARA EC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. ALMENARA EC may have spent more time on the ball, but Guape EC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
