Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Doriva Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Fernandez in the 8th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Franklin Salgado made a precise shot to the right of Evandro Mattos. Toniolo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Evandro Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Paulo Souto fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toniolo's protests and gave Paulo Souto a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Jacinto in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doriva Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Waldemar Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cássio Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Mattos having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Vendinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Damião to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Toniolo's corner Elói Dantas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doriva Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Evandro Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Valladares in the 38th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Amorim having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Tiaguinho Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Nicolas de Brito took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Doriva Amorim to make any attempt to save it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

56 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Jacinto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vendinha's Doriva Amorim. Doriva Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Tiaguinho Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Carlos Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Amorim having to interfere. Waldemar Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doriva Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Vendinha's Doriva Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Jacinto in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Marcus Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Antônio Carlos Jacinto sped through Vendinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doriva Amorim. Antônio Carlos Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Doriva Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vendinha getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Carlos Rossi hit a great ball. Antônio Carlos Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Amorim having to interfere. Marcus Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Evandro Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cássio Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vendinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiaguinho Valladares struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Evandro Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendinha. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vendinha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Toniolo.
