The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Kléberson Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pameranos SC's protests and gave Kléberson Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zilda FC booed when Pameranos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Olívio Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Pameranos SC got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Marinho. The supporters of Zilda FC booed when Pameranos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilson Mattos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Durvalino Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olívio Saraiva having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Pameranos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Alcântara came free, but Jonathan Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pameranos SC's Reginaldo Alagoano pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doni Eger during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Doni Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Kauan Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zilda FC's Kauan Alcântara in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pameranos SC's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Marcos Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zilda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durvalino Vides to make the kick off. Hamílton Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Aílton Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pameranos SC booed when Zilda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Kauan Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pameranos SC's Jonathan Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Teixeira having to interfere. Kléberson Marinho got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Pameranos SC's Kléberson Marinho got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Kauan Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Alcântara in the 80th minute of the match. Marcos Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Durvalino Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jonathan Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Zilda FC's Marcos Prata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zilda FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pameranos SC to leave the ground with a draw.
