In the 26th minute, Juarês Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Mendes took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Abreu. Fabiano Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A hard shot 38 in the game by Tomé Barral from a close distance when the talented Sidney Botelho managed to make a qualified save. sniper 2's players were relieved. After 41 played minutes sniper 2 got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Mello. In the 43rd match minute, sniper 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luizão Monteiro to make the kick off. When Luizão Monteiro got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sidney Botelho was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in sniper 2's zone, Pedro Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Botelho came out of the goal and Pedro Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Pedro Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Omori F.C.'s Tomé Barral quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ronaldinho Mello, made in the 69th minute of the game. Sidney Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, sniper 2's Frederico Cosme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Omori F.C.'s zone, Dorival Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Abreu came out of the goal and Dorival Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizão Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Botelho having to interfere. Luizão Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidney Botelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luizão Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabiano Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Mendes's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Omori F.C.'s Luizão Monteiro managed to work through sniper 2's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luizão Monteiro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
