Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Oliveira kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the PiuPiu defense, Edmílson Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson da Silva. The PiuPiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson da Silva should have stopped the shot. In the 12thth minute of the game Vukoje Bogičević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabiunas's Sílvio Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PiuPiu's Vukoje Bogičević got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson da Silva. PiuPiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Augusto Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, PiuPiu's Jefferson Xavier got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Albertinho Damião fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabiunas's protests and gave Albertinho Damião a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Cabiunas got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Damião. Juvenal da Cunha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio Alves. Cabiunas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luizinho Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizinho Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Cabiunas got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Rosado. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Pedro Luiz Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. PiuPiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luiz Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Edmílson Negri notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of PiuPiu's Nelson da Silva. Nelson da Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jefferson Xavier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio Alves. Cabiunas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vukoje Bogičević in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Alves saved Cabiunas from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vukoje Bogičević made a kick off. A collision led to PiuPiu getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Juvenal da Cunha hit a great ball. Sílvio Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vukoje Bogičević in the 57th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Vukoje Bogičević sped through Cabiunas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Alves. Sílvio Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vukoje Bogičević's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Kléberson Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sílvio Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléberson Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. Bebeto Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Alves having to interfere. Francisco Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nelson da Silva made a huge save. Sílvio Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vukoje Bogičević's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Edmílson Negri hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Vukoje Bogičević managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedro Luiz Tróia took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Alves. Sílvio Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 89thth minute of the game Vukoje Bogičević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabiunas's Sílvio Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Bebeto Leão notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Cabiunas's Sílvio Alves. Sílvio Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the PiuPiu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
