C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Cosme came free, but Alexsandro Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcenal F. C.'s Filipe Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ismael Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcenal F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes of play, New Shock FC's Agnaldo Lima made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexsandro Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexsandro Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Maciel in the 29th minute of play. Márcio Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alexsandro Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ismael Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Maciel in the 49th minute of play forced Barcenal F. C.'s goalkeeper Alexsandro Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Ismael Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, New Shock FC's Agnaldo Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexsandro Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Barcenal F. C.'s Alexsandro Lopes got control of the ball when Dedê Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barcenal F. C.'s Alexsandro Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Maciel in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barcenal F. C.'s zone, Márcio Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Lopes came out of the goal and Márcio Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Barcenal F. C.'s Ediberto Cunha got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dedê Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Shock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dedê Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Lopes having to interfere. The supporters of New Shock FC booed when Barcenal F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalmo Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedê Cosme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Alexsandro Lopes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dedê Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New Shock FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
