Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Davi Prado started the match with the kick off. Mateus de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Christiano Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mocambeiro AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Christiano Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldinho Meireles's late challenge caught a Mocambeiro AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. Ronaldinho Meireles hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Christiano Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Fernandez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus de Brito in the 18th minute of play forced Botafogo Seropédica's goalkeeper João Carlos Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Benjamim Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Carlos Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. Ronaldinho Meireles got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ronaldinho Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Mocambeiro AD's Adhemar Perez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Botafogo Seropédica's João Carlos Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus de Brito in the 32nd minute of play. Mocambeiro AD's Mateus de Brito was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mocambeiro AD's Gilson Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Prado in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Mocambeiro AD getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Madureira hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateus de Brito to make the kick off. Mateus de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Fernandez having to interfere. After some careless play in the Botafogo Seropédica defense, Christiano Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Fernandez. The Botafogo Seropédica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Fernandez should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Botafogo Seropédica's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Mendes came free, but João Carlos Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Botafogo Seropédica defense, Mateus de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Fernandez. The Botafogo Seropédica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Fernandez should have stopped the shot. If Mateus de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botafogo Seropédica's João Carlos Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Mendes in the 71st minute of play. Mateus de Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Carlos Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Zézinho de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christiano Mendes took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Carlos Fernandez. João Carlos Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. João Carlos Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Mocambeiro AD's Mateus de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Carlos Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. João Carlos Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus de Brito in the 95th minute of play forced Botafogo Seropédica's goalkeeper João Carlos Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
