After 15 minutes of play, Alamari's Edmundo Lira made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gugu Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Vander in the 18th minute of play forced Alamari's goalkeeper Nilmar Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Alamari's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Vander came free, but Nilmar Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match, Edinho de Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nilmar Vander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 25th match minute, Alamari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Baiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Dida Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Itamoata FC's Edinho de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gugu Sampaio having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Edinho de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gugu Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Itamoata FC's Lenílson Neto got a free kick in the 75th minute. Alamari's Edmundo Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilmar Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Vander in the 86th minute of the match.
