The Itamoata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gugu Sampaio should have stopped the shot. Kléberson Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ulisses Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Sampaio having to interfere. In the 35th minute Dida Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Petr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Petr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Vander struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Cássio Petr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itamoata FC. 79 minutes into the match, Itamoata FC's Edinho de Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Petr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Itamoata FC's goalkeeper Gugu Sampaio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Itamoata FC's Dida Vander got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Itamoata FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Jabá F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Jabá F.C.
