Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benjamin Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Simão having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Itauninha's Andrézinho Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Andrézinho Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Itauninha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Ortiz couldn't finish the play. After having played for 17 minutes, Benjamin Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itauninha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Juninho Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Simão having to interfere. Conrado Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rogério Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Pontes in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Itauninha's Juninho Bezerra got a free kick in the 31st minute. Frank Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes Cotia SC got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Cabral. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Ortiz in the 38th minute of play forced Cotia SC's goalkeeper Frank Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrézinho Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Conrado Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juninho Bezerra hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Itauninha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Borges made a kick off. Rogério Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Benjamin Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Simão having to interfere. Benjamin Borges in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frank Simão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 84 minutes into the game, Teodoro Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rogério Favoretto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conrado Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Favoretto having to interfere. Benjamin Borges got in the 97th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Frank Simão handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cotia SC had won after a very even match.
