With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Vander in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Dantas saved Sauraura SC from getting behind. When Nildo Peres fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sauraura SC's protests and gave Nildo Peres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Nildo Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateus Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Didi Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute José Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateus Valadares struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Didi Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chafariz. The audience was convinced that Valdir Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Dantas was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Didi Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Vander in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Sauraura SC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Vander came free, but Didi Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Dantas having to interfere. If Mateus Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Christiano Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sauraura SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiano Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Soares hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Didi Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Christiano Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Miguel Mattos made a huge save.

With a little luck, Sauraura SC's Didi Dantas got control of the ball when Mateus Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Sauraura SC defense, Mateus Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Dantas. The Sauraura SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Dantas should have stopped the shot. Narciso Lago hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Valdir Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chafariz's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Mateus Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Didi Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Chafariz's Mateus Valadares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute, Raphael Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Sauraura SC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Vander came free, but Didi Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Dantas having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Valdir Vander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Didi Dantas. Valdir Vander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When Chafariz's Valdir Vander in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sauraura SC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Valdir Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chafariz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Sauraura SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Travassos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Vander in the 87th minute of play forced Sauraura SC's goalkeeper Didi Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Valdir Vander made a precise shot to the right of Didi Dantas. Sauraura SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mateus Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Dantas having to interfere. Chafariz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
