Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Adolfo Trigo kicked off to start the match. Jerônimo Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Narciso da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Coelhos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Narciso da Mata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerônimo Coelho got free with Narciso da Mata in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 14 minutes, Donatello Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buarque SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatello Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Décio Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Trigo in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Valqueire EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Pirani to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match, Jerônimo Coelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Narciso da Mata was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerônimo Coelho got free with Narciso da Mata in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerônimo Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Narciso da Mata made a huge save. 36 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Coelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narciso da Mata. Jerônimo Coelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Narciso da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Coelho went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 46 minutes, Rui Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buarque SC and the Valqueire EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Buarque SC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rui Neiva hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donatello Tepedino to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Donatello Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Buarque SC booed when Valqueire EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Valqueire EC's goal looked a bit too open when Donatello Tepedino came free, but Narciso da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olívio Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Donatello Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso da Mata having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Valqueire EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Neiva came free, but Narciso da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valqueire EC's Zézinho Fonseca got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Buarque SC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jerônimo Coelho hit a great ball. Valqueire EC's Narciso da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donatello Tepedino in the 77th minute of play. Chico Pirani hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Décio Mendes made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Olívio Pimenta sent off a good shot on target. If Olívio Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Valqueire EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Coelho came free, but Narciso da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Décio Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Trigo in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buarque SC had won after a very even match.
