The wind increased when Nestor de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luís Travassos went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Nestor de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor de Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guga Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Guga Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. JUVENTOS's Guga Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor de Queirós in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes JUVENTOS got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Cerezo. Guga Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
