Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when César Penha took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Itapore AD's Luiz Guilherme Tepedino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 5 played minutes Itapore AD got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Mendes. Dionísio de Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionísio de Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Celso getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dionísio de Carvalho hit a great ball. Dênis do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Tepedino in the 7th minute of play. Tomé Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibúrcio Pitta in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Celso's Pedro Augusto da Costa got a free kick in the 11th minute. Itapore AD's Tomé Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Itapore AD from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Itapore AD getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ismael Mendes hit a great ball. Itapore AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Tibúrcio Pitta scored to the left of an out of position Tomé Leite, making the score, 1-1. Dionísio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tomé Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomé Leite was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Tibúrcio Pitta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tibúrcio Pitta really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Tomé Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionísio de Carvalho in the 44th minute. Tomé Leite was a little too slow when Tibúrcio Pitta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tibúrcio Pitta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When David Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Celso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Toledo couldn't finish the play. Tomé Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionísio de Carvalho in the 54th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Dionísio de Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Dionísio de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Pitta in the 70th minute of play forced Itapore AD's goalkeeper Tomé Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Guilherme Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dênis do Vale made a huge save. Dionísio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tomé Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tibúrcio Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. David Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dionísio de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Leite having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Celso's David Toledo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Luiz Guilherme Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luiz Guilherme Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Itapore AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Tepedino couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Itapore AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Celso.
