Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Raúl Moreira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. César Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Linares having to interfere. Rubinho Linares came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Icaturama's Edmílson Pitta. But to his dismay, Edmílson Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Beto Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, César Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubinho Linares. Catakeamain SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 18th match minute, Catakeamain SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, César Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icaturama's supporters rose to their feet, but César Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 0-3 became the score in the 25th minute when César Pernambucano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Edmílson Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Raúl Moreira sped through Icaturama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beto Negri. When César Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Icaturama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Edmílson Pitta made a precise shot to the right of Rubinho Linares. Catakeamain SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Edmílson Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icaturama's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Icaturama's César Pernambucano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rubinho Linares. Rubinho Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. 58 minutes into the match, Icaturama's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Corrêa came free, but Beto Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Zé Augusto Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raúl Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Icaturama booed when Catakeamain SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Icaturama's Edmílson Pitta came free and shot a quick shot against goal 80 minutes in the game, fortunately Rubinho Linares had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 82 minutes Catakeamain SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natanael Alves who took care of the corner kick. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Icaturama's goalkeeper Beto Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. César Pernambucano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Zé Augusto Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catakeamain SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Augusto Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute of the match Dorival Guimarães shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beto Negri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Icaturama's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Moreira came free, but Beto Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Icaturama's goalkeeper Beto Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Icaturama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Icaturama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
