Capão Redondo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Boyan Kirichkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Thomás Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Murillo Fernandez made a huge save. A collision led to Mariluz AD getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. In the 41st minute Nicolas de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Capão Redondo FC's Severino de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas de Salles in the 43rd minute of play. Severino de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Peres in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Bozzo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas de Salles in the 52nd minute of play forced Capão Redondo FC's goalkeeper Severino de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomás Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severino de Alcântara. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. After 56 played minutes Capão Redondo FC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Castro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Lopez got free with Severino de Alcântara in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas de Salles in the 63rd minute of play forced Capão Redondo FC's goalkeeper Severino de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariluz AD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Natanael Fernandez in the 65th minute. A nice corner shot did that Natanael Fernandez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severino de Alcântara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vicente Lopez came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Severino de Alcântara could save by the left post. Boyan Kirichkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Severino de Alcântara made a huge save. Severino de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Vicente Lopez sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomás Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severino de Alcântara. That made the score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Lopez got free with Severino de Alcântara in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boyan Kirichkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Murillo Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino de Alcântara was a little too slow when Vicente Lopez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-6. 95 minutes into the game, Nicolas de Salles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severino de Alcântara. Nicolas de Salles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The Mariluz AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
