If Sérgio Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nando Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Lucas having to make a save. When Allan Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floripa F.C's protests and gave Allan Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Floripa F.C getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Allan Xavier hit a great ball. Erik Lucas was a little too slow when Nando Guerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Sérgio Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Allan Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rodolfo Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The referee ignored Floripa F.C's protests and gave Doriva Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Moto Clube MZ booed when Floripa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Nascimento's late challenge caught a Floripa F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. Doriva Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Floripa F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Moto Clube MZ.
