Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Víktor Meirelles got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Guatapora got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Soeiro. When Alfredinho Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Itapitanga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Donatello couldn't finish the play. Guatapora's Genílson Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Guatapora from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the game, Percival Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapitanga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guatapora the free kick. After 11 played minutes Itapitanga FC got a freekick which was hit by Percival Cardoso. In the 14th minute, Narciso Duarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Genílson Moura. The goal made the score 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Guatapora's goalkeeper Genílson Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho Donatello. A collision led to Guatapora getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Benedito Soeiro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Víktor Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatapora's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27thth minute of the game Víktor Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapitanga FC's Zé Roberto Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Itapitanga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Nunes came free, but Zé Roberto Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Víktor Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatapora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54thth minute of the game Narciso Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guatapora's Genílson Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Narciso Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Itapitanga FC! Guatapora's Genílson Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Duarte in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Meirelles in the 74th minute of play forced Itapitanga FC's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Meirelles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Roberto Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Itapitanga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Britto to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Donatello struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Genílson Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapitanga FC. 90 minutes into the match, Guatapora's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Donatello came free, but Genílson Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Humberto Porto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itapitanga FC's Zé Roberto Coelho didn't even have to move.
