Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Machado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Serafim Goiano made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Rômulo Xavier sent off a good shot on target. Luís Fernando de Sena took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Baiano. Nestor Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rômulo Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Goiano having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Aílton Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rômulo Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rômulo Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Serafim Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Machado in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafim Goiano saved Sideropolis from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Wilian Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sideropolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bastos FC the free kick. After 30 played minutes Sideropolis got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Meireles. If Rômulo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Machado in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafim Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Machado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After the first half Sideropolis were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luís Fernando de Sena made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Valadares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Nestor Baiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rodrigo Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Baiano having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bastos FC's goalkeeper Nestor Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bastos FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lúcio Nóbrega hit a great ball. Nestor Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Valadares went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Fernando de Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Baiano. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. If Rodrigo Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Xavier in the 87th minute of play forced Sideropolis's goalkeeper Serafim Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rômulo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Serafim Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastos FC's Daniel Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bastos FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sideropolis to win.
