Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo Teles took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Hamílton Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Pumas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Saldanha couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Nelson Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Cosme having to interfere. Anselmo Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sidnei Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidnei Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Teles in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Pumas's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Teles came free, but Sidnei Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nelson Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Araújo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Sidnei Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Pumas's Sidnei Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Pereira in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Teles in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Araújo saved Pumas from getting behind. If Anselmo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pumas's Aloísio Magalhães got a free kick in the 65th minute. Anselmo Teles succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselmo Teles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sidnei Araújo. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Anselmo Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eucum SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luís Paulo Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eucum SS played a much better game than Pumas and deserved their victory. The Pumas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
