When Luís Paulo Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Jacareacanga AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Paulo Guerra couldn't finish the play. Conrado Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Carioca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Conrado Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Paulo Guerra made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 44thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Waldir Carioca would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Jacareacanga AD's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Zilles came free, but Caio Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Ronaldinho Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Bondade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdemar Favoretto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jacareacanga AD's Valdemar Favoretto to fire away a dangerous shot which Waldir Carioca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Bondade's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Britto came free, but Waldir Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Carioca having to interfere. Ronaldinho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Bastos having to interfere. The supporters of Jacareacanga AD booed when Bondade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Jacareacanga AD fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Jacareacanga AD's Conrado Britto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute Luís Paulo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bondade's Waldir Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Britto in the 96th minute of play.
