Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Léo Tande recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Luiz Cunha. Léo Tande showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Varzea SC's Ramiro Peres pulled a muscle in his back after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 7 minutes, Jonas Tasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urycuca EC and the Varzea SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Urycuca EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Tasso to maneuver through the defense. When Vitinho Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Varzea SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho Paranaense couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Tande in the 11th minute of play forced Varzea SC's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anderson Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Anderson Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urycuca EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitinho Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Vitinho Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Quaresma was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Vitinho Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luiz Eduardo Quaresma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urycuca EC's Luiz Eduardo Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Rossi in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitinho Paranaense in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Eduardo Quaresma saved Urycuca EC from getting behind. Luiz Eduardo Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Paranaense in the 40th minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Quaresma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitinho Paranaense went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 46 minutes of play, Urycuca EC's Richard do Vale made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léo Tande to make the kick off. Vitinho Paranaense came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Eduardo Quaresma could save by the left post. Anderson Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Varzea SC's Luís Rossi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Anderson Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Varzea SC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Varzea SC's Vitinho Paranaense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 70 played minutes Varzea SC got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Peres. If Vitinho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Urycuca EC got a freekick which was hit by Léo Tande. In the 85th minute, Urycuca EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joaquim Pontes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Richard do Vale hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Varzea SC's Luís Antunes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Urycuca EC. Joaquim Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Quaresma having to interfere. If Luís Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Quaresma having to interfere. When the match was over Varzea SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Urycuca EC throughout the match.
