Igor Leal started the match with the kick off. Fernandão Nogueira hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Agostinho Nunes struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Amílton Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balseiro AD. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Meira was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Pedro Paulo Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Cléberson Prado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Meira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Paulo Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Amílton Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Nunes in the 21st minute of play. Igor Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Amílton Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Passos having to interfere. Manfredo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alfredo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Leal during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amílton Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Leal in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Enchente got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Nogueira. Amílton Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Leal in the 40th minute of play. Balseiro AD's Igor Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Balseiro AD's zone, Manfredo Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Meira came out of the goal and Manfredo Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Magalhães made a kick off. Amílton Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Leal in the 52nd minute of the match. Emanuel Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. The supporters of Balseiro AD booed when Enchente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Balseiro AD's Agostinho Nunes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amílton Passos. Amílton Passos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Agostinho Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Amílton Passos made a huge save. Emanuel Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Meira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Leal in the 74th minute of play forced Enchente's goalkeeper Amílton Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manfredo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enchente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cléberson Prado in the 86th minute. Cléberson Prado made a great header on Enchente's corner, it was just that Balseiro AD's Alfredo Meira managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 90th minute, Manfredo Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes, Enchente's Jânio Dracena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Meira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Enchente reached it. Emanuel Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Meira having to interfere. If Emanuel Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
