With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Moura in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Nogueira saved Itahy EC from getting behind. Wágner Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Benê Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wágner Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Lúcio Neto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Itapema FC's Benê Custódio. Benê Custódio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lúcio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Itahy EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Zé Pedro Marinho hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Itahy EC's zone, Bruninho Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Nogueira came out of the goal and Bruninho Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Davi Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Itapema FC's Davi Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giuseppe Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Neto made a kick off. Giuseppe Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Davi Pernambucano sped through Itahy EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giuseppe Nogueira. The supporters of Itahy EC booed when Itapema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Andrade was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Gerson de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruninho Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Nogueira having to interfere. Bruninho Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Davi Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapema FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th match minute, Itahy EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. The Itahy EC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Itapema FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
