Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucas Botelho kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Guatacaba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Pernambucano came free, but Nilmar Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Arthur Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatacaba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Arce in the 19th minute of play forced Morrinhos FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Lucas Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guatacaba EC's Nilmar Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Botelho in the 25th minute of play. Nilmar Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Pernambucano in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Délio Pernambucano in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilmar Moreira saved Guatacaba EC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Morrinhos FC's Emílio Campidelis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Arthur Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute of the match, Ronaldo Berger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zé Paulo Santos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauan do Vale during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Charles Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatacaba EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Lucas Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Guatacaba EC booed when Morrinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Arce's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Charles Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Zé Paulo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Guatacaba EC booed when Morrinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Morrinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Arce came free, but Zé Paulo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo Santos came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Guatacaba EC's Arthur Arce. But to his dismay, Arthur Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Guatacaba EC's Nilmar Moreira got control of the ball when Délio Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arthur Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Charles Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guatacaba EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Lucas Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar Moreira having to interfere. When Adhemar Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morrinhos FC's protests and gave Adhemar Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead.
