He walked away shaking his head. After 6 minutes, Raphael Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guinda and the Paracuru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Guinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. David Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Wiliam da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Guinda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paracuru:s goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Celsinho Carvalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Toledo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Wilson Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th match minute, Paracuru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celsinho Carvalho in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Toledo saved Guinda from getting behind. Mané Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guinda's zone, Celsinho Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Toledo came out of the goal and Celsinho Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 54 minutes, Samuel de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paracuru and the Guinda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Samuel de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Belchior Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guinda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paracuru the free kick. Mané Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuca Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pedro Luís Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paracuru's Haroldo Massa got a free kick in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Guinda's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Alagoano came free, but David Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Custódio made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Samuca Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Paracuru's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Custódio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuca Tinoco. David Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Alagoano in the 96th minute of the match. Paracuru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guinda for a fine match.
