Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dariusz Karanowski started the match with the kick off. Rony Aguiar hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Arlindo Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Veloso having to interfere. Téo da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Téo da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PEÇA AD booed when Oquiniguia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Peixoto got free with Nilton Quintal in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Oquiniguia's goal looked a bit too open when André Pena came free, but Percy Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dariusz Karanowski took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percy Veloso. Percy Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dariusz Karanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PEÇA AD's Nilton Quintal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save PEÇA AD from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Oquiniguia's zone, Marcos Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Veloso came out of the goal and Marcos Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Oquiniguia's Dráusio Quintal got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Noel Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Dariusz Karanowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEÇA AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Dariusz Karanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Dariusz Karanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Percy Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlindo Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, PEÇA AD's Marcos Saraiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Noel Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Veloso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oquiniguia's Téo da Silva got a free kick in the 69th minute. Marcos Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Arlindo Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Percy Veloso made a huge save. If André Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcos Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the PEÇA AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Saraiva couldn't finish the play. Percy Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Dariusz Karanowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Percy Veloso. That made the score 0-4 in the 86 minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Dariusz Karanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEÇA AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Karanowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oquiniguia's Percy Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Oquiniguia from getting a goal against them. When the match was over PEÇA AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oquiniguia throughout the match.
