Jairo Vidal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Murillo Coelho. 0-1. A hard shot by Roggers Folan from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Telmo Goiano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Quintal could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Telmo Goiano however easily saved by the left post. Fernando Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Telmo Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murillo Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If João Carlos Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Quintal got free with Telmo Goiano in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Urubu's Telmo Goiano got control of the ball when Fernando Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Marcinho Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Zinneck 2009 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcinho Paraense couldn't finish the play. Luís Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Telmo Goiano made a huge save. Marcinho Paraense struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Telmo Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zinneck 2009. After a defensive mix-up in Urubu's zone, Luís Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Goiano came out of the goal and Luís Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Carlos Martins to make the kick off. FC Zinneck 2009's Fernando Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Luís Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urubu's Telmo Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rubinho Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. FC Zinneck 2009's Fernando Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fernando Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Urubu's Rubinho Paes got a free kick in the 96th minute. After recieving a nice pass, FC Zinneck 2009's Kauã Cearense tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Chants of Urubu echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Zinneck 2009 had held the ball for most of the match.
