Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinei Urbano started the match with the kick off. Simão Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simão Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. Ibiquitaba's Claudinei Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Duarte in the 15th minute of play. Fabiano Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Ipane AD booed when Ibiquitaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anísio Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinei Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Medeiros having to interfere. Zé Paulo Correia's late challenge caught a Ibiquitaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Correia helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Ipane AD got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Correia. In the 31st minute of the match Dionísio Dante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Medeiros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Simão Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alberto Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ibiquitaba booed when Ipane AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alberto Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráusio Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ipane AD's zone, Claudinei Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Medeiros came out of the goal and Claudinei Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Simão Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiquitaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ipane AD's Alberto Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Duarte in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anísio Donato to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé de Souza in the 54th minute of the match. Claudinei Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Medeiros having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Urbano in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Medeiros saved Ipane AD from getting behind. Fabiano Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Donato in the 62nd minute of the match. Simão Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Medeiros having to interfere. Claudinei Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Alberto Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Urbano in the 72nd minute of play forced Ipane AD's goalkeeper Alberto Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Simão Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Matorin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Claudinei Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Simão Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Medeiros. That made the score 0-1 in the 81 minute of play. Alberto Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Duarte in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Urbano in the 92nd minute of play forced Ipane AD's goalkeeper Alberto Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ibiquitaba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ipane AD.
